Sammy and Amanda

Here's a few pictures of Sammy and Amanda on December 2. They wanted some photos of themselves at their newly remodeled home. We setup some shots around their Christmas tree, moved outside for a few shots,and then moved back inside to setup the back drop for some fun shots. Enjoy the photos.

Dan, Cindy, & Carson

Here's a few photos from a session I did with Dan, Cindy, & Carson on Saturday, December 1. This session was a lot of fun because we were able to create some nice Holiday shots by their Christmas tree and mantle. Then we set up a white backdrop in their living room and created some nice family portraits. This Christmas is extra special to Dan and Cindy because this is Carson's first Christmas. She's such a cute baby! The shots with the rocking chair were special to Cindy because this was her mother's rocking chair. Using props such as the rocking chair is why it's so neat offering on-location photography. Enjoy the photos!

Our Christmas Pictures

Here's a few Christmas pictures I took of Cari and I just last night. It's a little difficult not being behind the camera and the subject being yourself. We had a lot of fun trying to get Oreo to look at the camera because there was no one there to squeak a toy or get her attention. So, we just waited until she fell asleep and then I just clicked away with the wireless shutter release. It was a lot of fun! Enjoy the photos!

We're Engaged!

What a day! Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 I became engaged to my sweetheart and best friend, Cari. The weather was excellent, not too cold, not too warm. We started our trek up to the top of King's Pinacle located at Crowder's Mountain State Park. It was a steep hike up, but the views along the way were gorgeous. The leaves were glowing in reds, oranges, and yellows. The view on top of the mountain was breath taking. Looking out over the piedmont and all of the wonderful colors. We found a nice spot to have some lunch. After that, the nerves kicked in a little. Yes I did have the camera set up, but of course she didn't think anything of it because she's used to me having the camera around all the time, lol. Then I asked my best friend to marry me. I have posted a few pictures below to share with you that awesome day. In the photos below, you'll see some of the awesome views we seen along the trail, and of course pictures of us. Carolina Raptor Center

Cari and I went to the Carolina Raptor Center (www.carolinaraptorcenter.org) Saturday, Nov.3. We took the behind the scenes tour, so we were able to see inside the raptor center hospital and hear about the care and rehab of the birds. This is a really cool place and I recommend going. I posted a few pictures I captured of some of the residents of the Carolina Raptor Center. Enjoy!

Carson Bohen

Here's some pictures of little Carson Bohen taken October 8. She's the new daughter of Cindy and Dan Bohen. I work with Cindy and had the opportunity to do a maternity shoot with them just a weeks before Carson's arrival. What head full of hair she has! Enjoy the photos!
