What a day! Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 I became engaged to my sweetheart and best friend, Cari. The weather was excellent, not too cold, not too warm. We started our trek up to the top of King's Pinacle located at Crowder's Mountain State Park. It was a steep hike up, but the views along the way were gorgeous. The leaves were glowing in reds, oranges, and yellows. The view on top of the mountain was breath taking. Looking out over the piedmont and all of the wonderful colors. We found a nice spot to have some lunch. After that, the nerves kicked in a little. Yes I did have the camera set up, but of course she didn't think anything of it because she's used to me having the camera around all the time, lol. Then I asked my best friend to marry me. I have posted a few pictures below to share with you that awesome day. In the photos below, you'll see some of the awesome views we seen along the trail, and of course pictures of us. Hope you enjoy!
